After a bit of a sleep in we went kayaking on the Murchison
River. It was a little choppy but a lot of fun. I tried Steve’s cousins Hobie kayak
which was a total new experience using feet power (just like riding a biking
lying down). It was a lot faster than mine and surprisingly had great manoeuvrability.

Too easy! |
We then went and visited Kalbarri’s main tourist attraction
- ‘Rainbow Jungle’. It was a very unique
facility with an abundance of different parrots. We were particularly fond of a
talking & performing Cockatoo. It took a liking to me but loved playing
hide and seek with Michelle. It was very cheeky. The kids left the park wanting
a bird, so maybe a budgie when we get back?

This place is pretty cool! |

This bird is too smart (& Michelle too) |

Matt talking to his little mate |
Rainbow Jungle is located on an amazing coastline known as the
Kalbarri Coastal Cliffs. We checked out Red Bluff and Eagle Gorge. Red Bluff is
the start of the coastal gorges and well known for its scenery, snorkelling and
fishing. Whilst exploring the area we could see the rain pouring on the town of
Kalbarri, but we managed to avoid it for the day.
